About Ms. Angela Stanton

- I’m a fully accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies.
- I have a broad range of experience in complex mental health, substance use, mood disorder, eating issues and issues related to life adjustment and relational issues.
- I have worked within the mental health field for more than 13 years.
- After gaining my SCOTACS Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork, I wanted to provide the best service to my client so I followed this on with extensive further training within CBT where I achieved my accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (BABCP).
- Throughout my work as a CBT practitioner, I have acquired a broad and varied experience, starting my career working in drug and alcohol units, delivering substance misuse motivational work, group work and one to one sessions.
- As an accredited member of The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, I adhere to their code of ethics and meet their standards of CPD.
- I receive clinical supervision from another experienced accredited CBT Psychotherapist to ensure that my practice remains at a high standard.
